Miley Cyrus (AKA Hanna Montana, AKA Destiny Hope Cyrus) has a new album Breakout (NOT a Hannah-Preteen record) that just debut with a number 1 on the charts… Great. Just what this little twit needs, more money, more fame, and more encouragement to become the new Britney Spears.

I’m sure if the original Teen-Slut-Diva were sober she’d be crying in her beer that she’s being eclipsed by a new teen who is quickly discovering her ta-tas are for more than just enticing pervs on MySpace.

Hannah/Miley/Hope sold 371,000 records over the weekend, and according to my sources (*my head) the demographics on her sales breaks down like this:

230,000 sold to: Preteen girls who have yet to develop taste buds

115,000 sold to: Teen girls who think Miley is her BFF on MySpace, so they want to show some love (the profile they’re BFF with is actually a 40 year old stalker perv who trolls the social sites looking for a date with a daughter.)

25,000 sold to: Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus who was concerned her album sales might not be enough to keep his career going

1,000 sold to: Middle age men who want to “Connect” with their daughter’s cute friends…

I doubt Miley/Hope/Hanna gets her driver’s license before she’s checked into a facility for either drug rehab, or more likely to have a ‘little problem’ scraped away… (You know your 15 y.o. daughter has issues when a major condom company wants to use her as a spokesman…)

The latest Harry Potter flick is coming, and of course the internet is heating up with trailers and gossip… I just watched the latest trailer to be released, and it looks like Harry Potter has gone from being a magical movie about a kid with a cool talent, to another Dark, Intense Sci-Fi Thriller.

The Harry Potter and Half Blood Prince title is right, (at least the “Half Blood” part) since it looks like they’ve replaced Harry and the gang with a new, younger, more lovable bunch (not surprising, since the Hogwart Academy doesn’t usually have high school students in their late 20’s - so the original cast is starting to look a little odd, wandering the halls amongst a bunch of teens…)

As you can see in this latest trailer, this isn’t exactly the flick you want to take the little kids to, but if you like intrigue, scary thrillers with a cast of kids and old people, this seems to be the movie for you.

I’ll eventually watch it, but only out of a sense of obligation… I’ve come this far down the road, I might as well watch it to the bitter, Jump-the-Shark end…

Shia’s Mom: My Boy’s “Fine”

Shia LaBeouf’s mom, Shayna, leaves Shia’s house in Los Angeles on Monday.

Shayna told E!, that, “I’m at the hospital right now, he’s doing fine.” She did not, however, reveal more about his present condition, after undergoing extensive hand surgery after a DUI-incurring car crash.

I’m not one to make fun of people during moments of tragedy (who am I kidding, that’s exactly what I do…) but is there anyone else out there who thinks there’s something wrong with this picture? I mean, come on, you’re son is a movie star/alcoholic, and his last payday was almost $10 million, couldn’t you at least get your hair done?

I saw some pictures today of John Mayer sporting his new ‘do. A very short buzz cut. Have you seen it? Take a look:

Do you like it? I miss his curly locks already. Well, maybe not exactly curly, but wavy, whatever.

I have to admit John Mayer has never held much appeal visually for me before, however, I recently viewed a video on TMZ.com where he spent the entire 4 minutes making fun of TMZ. After seeing that and witnessing his spontaneous sense of humor, I can kinda see why the chicks dig him. He has this weird sex appeal. Go figure.

Rebecca Romijn & Jerry O’Connell are expecting twins this winter.

Romijn & O’Connell have been married since July of 2007 and have talked about how they would love to have children. Earlier this month O’Connell said “It would be amazing if it happened and he joked the the conception process had been “a lot of fun for me” adding that they go at it “at least a few days a month!”

Wow. Twins. Of course they are. Everyone knows twins are common with celebrities, right? (Marcia Cross, Nancy Grace, Julia Roberts, Patrick Dempsey, Jennifer Lopez, and, of course, Brad & Angelina, just to name a few.)

So it’s beginning to look like twins are the new Hollywood trend. I wonder who’s next.

I just couldn’t believe it this morning when I read the Duggar’s are expecting another child! This will make their 18th. Are you kidding me? This has to be a joke, right?

I don’t know whether I’m more amazed at the fact that her body hasn’t given out on her yet or the fact that they are financially independent. I would like to take a moment to thank them, as a taxpayer. Thank you, Duggar’s, for supporting your own brood.

I know a couple who has 10 children and I can name all of them if I have to. That family is also non-government supported. Thank you, Family That I Will Not Name For Your Own Privacy, for not being a burden on the taxpayers of America.

Let’s get back to the first amazement: Her body can still handle it. That is almost incomprehensible. I know that I could barely kick out two kids. My body started giving out on me with my second pregnancy way back in 1996 and hasn’t stopped since.

I watched a show once on the Duggar’s (it was late at night and nothing else was on, okay?). I think I watched it more for the shock value than anything else. How could anyone do this over and over and over and over, I asked myself. WHY would anyone want to do this over and over and over? Could people really like kids that much?

Are the young women today really foolish enough to do drugs and steroids, or are they just desperate enough to try anything to win?

U.S. swimmer Jessica Hardy won’t get to compete at the Olympics in Beijing.

According to reports, the Southern California native tested positive for a banned substance.

Hardy can pursue appeals with the American Arbitration Association and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

With just two weeks til Beijing, Hardy could appeal directly to the arbitration court, whose ruling would be final and binding.

Typically, a first-time doping offense results in a two-year ban.

Hardy earned spots on her first Olympic team in her best event, the 100 breast, and the 50 freestyle and 400 free relay.

She was expected to be a medal threat in the 100-meter breaststroke, and to play an important part on the U.S. 400-meter free relay team, and possibly the 400 medley relay.

If she’s really innocent she should totally appeal.

Drugs are bad!
